I was at my dealer getting a few items for my MF50 and noticed a 231S. Strikes me as a 35 or 135 with different sheet metal. How does this tractor compare with the 35/135. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think these are now discontinued, replaced by a 400 series.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Bill

Just a modern day version of either. Been seeing deals down here with the 45 hp 231S w/ or w/o loader and includes a 16 ft Pipe-top trailer w/ elec. brakes and heavy duty tires, 6ft.bushhog, and a 6ft.boxblade....w/o loader about $14K...w/ loader(20ft trailer) about $18K. I have a MF175, but I know if I needed to, that this tractor could work for my needs. The package deals down here in TX are pretty good...if I ever want to buy a new tractor, that is the size I'd be looking at, and I have 25 acres....the old boy before me used a 30 on here for years and years. I just like the 175 for dragging logs from the back of the property to my landing up front....but I think the 231S would do it also...just have to work harder. Lynch
