Hey Bob,
Did you read the old posts about the 235? I see alot of comments about the power steering systems not being great. Hope this warning isn't too late.

Hey Bob. Do you know where your 235 was manufactured?
I was looking at tractor tips and it looks like the 235 was the interum between the 135 and 245. It says the 235 was built '75, '76. the 245's were '76 to '83. It seems that I read that the 245's were built in France. The only other difference I see is $7,000 and 100 pounds if Tractor tips is accurate.
I love my 245.

Do a search on the past forum records on this site. I think primary difference is 35 pto hp to 42 pto hp. I thing the motor is basically the same.

I have a 235 with a 3 cyl Perkins. It doesn't have the original steering box but I was told by my local agent that they can now get upgraded parts for any part of the steering system. Mine is an orchard and I gave $4500 it was about medium condition.
