I was bushhogging and was not able to stop tractor in time before a tree had wedged itself between fender and hyd contorl. To make things worse it broke the hyd. cotroll lever housing. How difficult is this going to be to fix.

An over running coupler was mentioned, were you running it in engine or trans. drive on the pto?

Charles I,am not trying to make things worse ,but you need to invest in a ORC ( over run coupler ) so that does not happen again, its about $60.00 but well worth it and it will prevent bushhog momentum from pushing you after you push clutch in !Hope you get everything fixed ! Have a safe day ! Larry

My 245 has a 1 1/4 x 3 inch piece of steel welded to the differential case and to the tube that holds the vector assembly that has your lift controls. If I had a fancy digital camera, I'd take picture of it and post. I believe my tractor was roled before I got it because it had a new seat, the PTO shift lever was bent and had all brand new sheet metal.

My Massey dealer told me that a large man sat on one once and broke it, indicating it isn't the strongest thing to begin with. That was a 135.

Good luck
