I did not notice that the fuel had frozen in my tractor ( it got down to 1F ). The fuel ran dry, I used starting fluid to start it. Tractor ran fine for a while and I noticed that oil was coming out of the dipstick. It does not run rough, but I need to check the compression. What should it be for a 135 diesel? Thanks, Chip....

You could have a hairline crack on a piston, and it could still run fine for the time being. The extra gasses should come out your draft tube but a restriction there would push oil out the dipstick.

You also need to remove the mud dawber's nest from the vent pipe running from the rocker arm cover.
