What is a running 44-6 worth with a w/f ? It smokes a little but has plenty of power. It needs a few things but we use it regularly. I need live power and hydraulics so need to sell it. The hood has been cut away a little above the broken exhaust manifold . Would need a few things to make it pretty.

There's been one selling for high prices on e bay,
in PA. Problem seems to be the bidders must forget
two things, inspection and good credit. The post
mentions 'deadbeats', less than perfect. A new
buyer, no money exchanged, at premium price. The
44-6 is then relisted. Figures in the high teens.
Throttle and front wheels from a Special, it's a
late six, by S/N, '50-'51. It runs, at least, the
44D on e bay has coolant in the oil, over $900.
One fresh engine, please.

my 44s is 5220lb with cast rear wheels dry and no cast wheels on front i was going to pull it in 5000 and 6000 but i have a bad back and can't handel the weights so i just do 6000. so i load 780 lbs on her with my pickup truck cheery picker but if i get ride of the cast rears then i have to load 1280 and can't find the room where it should go. as for the DQ i had the cast front hubs hung on by rebar. latter
