BOUGHT A MF135 WITH GAS PERKINS. HAS CRACK/HOLE IN OIL PAN LEFT SIDE NEAR BELL HOUSING. NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED,IS THIS A COMMON THING WITH PERKINS? IS IT HARD TO FIX,MUST LIKELY A BROKEN PUSH RODE. WILL THE OIL PAN FROM A DIESEL FIT THE GAS PERKINS? THANKS

The diesel will fit, I am sure, same block. I would not patch w/ epoxy. The pan is a structural part of the tractor! Could be a disaster! As I recall, you have to pull engine to swap pan. Good time to do an overhaul. Parts are inexpensive, and easy job to do!

Don't know if it would fit but would patching with JB weld do to repair old one?
