Difference between MF 240 and 245 ?

Anybody know what the differences are (were)
between these two models ?

Was one any better than the other or
'bout the same....

240 is UK built from 1980 upto 1990
245 is French built from 1977-1983
Technical very identical however the gearbox from the 245 has the 3rd and 4th gear synchronised
and the 240 is non synchro.240 is always with CE
engine(later specs) and the 245 is both with DL
and CE engine. rear end is the same aswel the front axle. Sheet metal is completely different
and in the 245 there are more specs , one with the battery on top of the steering box and the other
with the battery in front of the radiator.
