Why So Desired?

I am just courious, but I see a few MF245 tractors around where I live and from time to time one will come-up for sale. High hours and a very high price seem the norm. What is it about this tractor that makes it so desirable vs a older 135, 235 or a newer 241 or 231S?

Thanks in advance,
Bill

I can't explain it but CH kind of says it all about the MF245. I have never knew of anyone that had or run one that was not completely worn out when they bought it that did not love them. I know that everyone says the MF135 is one of the best and I have to agree with that but the MF245 is a better tractor. Most people who have them just won't let them go. We had people trade them in on the MF240 & MF250 and was back in a short time wanting to buy back their 245. I think that for their size they were the best tractor ever built

I'm not sure, but I love mine.

I know that the 235's had steering problems, but why did the 245's cost $8,000 more than the 235's?

Must have made a lot of improvements. The 231s look smaller and lighter. The 231s costs less than the 245 did.

I hope more people add to the reasons, cause I've always wondered the same thing.
