I hate telling this to people, and I know they hate hearing it, but old combines like that generally bring whatever scrap iron goes for in the area they are at. Similar machine sold here in NJ for $20 a couple years ago.

Here in Middle Tennessee farming has gone to subdivisions. A MF 300 in beautiful shape with a corn head brought $200 at a sale recently, only because the buyer wanted the wheels for a hot rod tractor. Even the paint on the slant 6 engine was good. I bid on a perfect Gleaner K with both heads up to $250, but quit when my wife hit me. I have seen a MF 510 given to our local dealer just so it could be moved to make way for a housing project. The dealer took the 354 Perkins out of it and put it in a customers tractor. When the AC dealer went defunct here about 5 years ago, 2 brand spanking new, 0 hr Gleaners that had been unable to be sold on the lot, and carried over for several years, were unable to be liquidated at foreclosure. AGCO certainly would not take them back, and the VP of the bank got so mad, he left them on the spot refusing to allow the developer of the property to move them. They have tree limbs growing through the cab windows today. It makes me heart sick.
