3-pt adjustment on MF65

The end of the three point linkages on my MF65 will go from about 9" (ground to center) to about 17" ... that doesn't seem very high to me. At the low end, the adjustment lever (the side offset) nut hits the axle (there's quite a dent there ;-)). How high is it supposed to lift?

It judders a *little* bit (no load) whilst lifting. It has aux hydraulics installed, so one of the two new levers operates the 3-pt, not the main hydraulic control.

Is the whole thing just rotated too far down? Is it easy to adjust it back up somehow? I have an I&T manual, but the procedure isn't described in much detail, and revolves around setting the normal 3-pt controls to a specific position (which I can't do, because mine is hooked up to aux hydraulics).

Any advice much appreciated ...

Recommend you buy real MF manuals. Available at dealer. Get 3 manuals: Operator, Repair, and Parts. You need all 3. The I&T manual will only get you in trouble.

I would have to look at ine but there is a compination where it returns the power to your draft lever on the right side of your seat I am thinking it is bith levers in the middle they are 3 position levers put both of them in the middle detent and try to use your draft contol lever

Aha! If I pull the left lever back, the normal controls reactivate ;-) Thanks very much - didn't realise that.

The basic up/down seems to work over a decent range now ... I'm fairly convinced it shouldn't impact the axle at the bottom, but that's easier to adjust now. I presume if I stick the position control lever, in draft, the draft lever should do a height-control operation, but it seems to drift down slowly whatever I do ... anyway, at least I can pick implements up to a decent height now ;-)

Thanks,

M.
