At a weak moment today I bought a 30 massey sitting by the side of the road. Does anyone out there know if there is any value to these. The engine isn,t siezed but it hasn,t run for a number of years.I bought it because I like making these old tractors run again but realize it may be better to sell the parts if the cost of fixing it is more than it is worth.

Got your email and sent you back a return email but your service provider (Sympatico) keeps sending it back. Says your address has permanent fatal errors (whatever that means). I sent it twice and it came back both times. Maybe send me another message and type in your email address manually in the body of the message just to make sure.

One great thing about the Masseys is the fact that you can lift oaut the whole engine and clutch assembly without splitting the tractor so any major work is a lot easier. I would say they are a pretty good little tractor .... the Continental engine is easy to get parts for since it was used in all sorts of ag and industrial applications. Email me at the above blue link if you like, I've got something here you might be interested in.

Randy, They were ok little tractors, don`t think they are of great value though. One problem with them were the weight to horsepower ratio, were kind of under powered for their weight. Value of the 30 is not great, Selling parts ? Don`t know.
