Can anyone verify if a grain table off of a Massey-Harris/ Ferguson Model 98 will adapt to a Massey 300? I have heard they will (or should anyhow) and was hoping some of you could help verify.

Thank you for any help,

Brad Gyde

I have never heard of a MF model 98 combine, but maybe there is such an animal. I you have a quick attach machine (built 1968 or newer) The heads that will fit are series 1446 (narrow rear openeing) the 1859 (wide rear opening) 2381, 9000 (rigid) 9100 (floating). 1446 10 foot through 20 foot 20" auger
1859 13 foot through 30 foot 20" rigid/floating
2381 self contained hydraulic reel drive 22" auger
9000 hydraulic reel drive only. 9100 same as 9000 but have floating cutterbar.

I may have made a mistake, It may have been a 92. My combine is currently not quick- attach, but I know of a local fellow who has a feeder house (and heads, but he wants more for heads than I can afford to spend.) I thank you for all of your help,

Brad

The 92 and super 92 heads are completely differnt.
If you put the 300 quick-attach throat on your machine then any heads from 1968-1987 300,410,510,750,760,850,860 will fit.

Thank you for all the help. You wouldn't know where I can find manuals for my 300, would you? I don't need original, all I need are readable/ usable.

Thanks,

Brad Gyde
