i have a mf-35, what weight oil do i use for my hydraulic lift....

please advise what type of oil is to be used
on mak marine engine type 551 vibration damper
the existing oil looks like having a silicon base . plse advise how many liter is required for a compelte change and where we can find such oil.

It depends on the ambient temperature range of the area the individual tractor is used in. 10 deg C to 40 deg C I use a straight 30 W diesel engine oil through out the whole tractor. Mine works fine, but as I say....depends on the climate.

use M-1103 or GL-1 90wt. MAKE sure it's mineral oil NOT 90wt. gear oil

Just had to reply... and check the archives if you want. If you go to a MF dealer and want to use the MF brand use 1103, or you can go to NAPA and get part # 65-205 (alot less expensive).... Either way, you want pure, 90w GL 1 spec fluid... (not GL 3, or 5 or anything else...)

Ditto! I used the MF 1103 (which is a 90W mineral oil) in my MF50.
