I just bought a front end loader for my MF35. It was made for the tractor and has it's own pump, all new hoses, and was painted the same red and gray as my tractor. A fellow bought it for his diesel (Standard not Perkins)that doesn't have power steering. It took some mods to go on his tractor and after that he found that with a load in the bucket and no power steering he couldn't hardly turn it. He was disgusted and wanted to sell it for half of what he paid for it, so I got it for $1,000, which I think was a great deal. The fellow that we bought the tractor from is going to mount it up for us for $200.

The fellow we bought the tractor, and now the loader through, is B&H Equipment between Tonasket and Orville Washington. He specializes in older Massey's. I can get his number for you if you like.

davis was the loader brand for ferguson loaders, try upsate NY, condidering that NYS is one of the biggest dairy farm states, alot of farmers used them to clean the barns out. try some slavage yards around there. Internet reaserach in that area woudnt help beacuse lack of computers in the rural areas around there. my 2 cents

I am sorry that I am not that fimiliar with 4x5 bales (rolls). Assuming the bales are 5 foot high and you want to stack them. The first two dose not seem to be a problem. For the 3rd bale, assuming you are pushing into the bale at the middle or bottom 1/3, your loader would have to lift approx 12 foot off the ground. It also depends on how heavy a 4x5 bale is?? I am guessing 700-1000 lbs beacuse the big bales are around 1200-1500 lbs (I think). Be very carefull that the bale does not come back and roll on you and that the front end does not flip forward. That's alot of weight that high off the ground. You may want to ask MF 135 owners with a loader what thay can handle with their tractors. And try the Ford Discussion board in relation to a 3000 Ford with a loader. MF 135 & Ford 3000 are just about equal in every aspect (height, weight, HP, length etc). Hope this helps

When adding a front loader make sure you add a front mounted auxillary pump to run the loader. A front mounted pump will allow you to have a quick acting front loader. Tapping into the hydraulic system will make your loader work very slow and limit the use of the 3 point hitch. Look into loaders that have bracing to the rear axle this helps to take some of the stress off the mid mounts on the tractor when pushing. Make sure you have rear weights or fluid filled rear tires to counter the weight. Power Steering is very much prefered. Newer loaders such as Great Bend, Bushhog & Allied are very good loaders and work well but can be pricey. If you can weld and fabricate brackets you can find just about anything and make it fit. Hope this helps

Charlie,
I have a loader on my TO35 which is driven off of the tractor hydraulic system. I'd like to add a font mounted auxiliary pump. This is the first tractor I've owned and I have had no luck finding a source for the mounting/drive for a pump. Is this a one off fabrication task or does someone make what I need?

Any help would be appreciated.

Guy
