power steering leak

I just bought a mf-35 runs great but just started to leak oil from under the steering wheel.can any body give some advice I am ok with tools just not familar with this baby yet.

There's a steering shaft seal that will cause this leakage- or so was the case with my TO-35. Big Dean ID'd the problem correctly. He may have something on this topic on his website. Cut 'n paste the following:

Also, as Tom said, manuals are very important. I have both the MF and I&T manuals and have found them to be indispensible. You can find manuals to the upper left of this screen under "Marketplace".

Thanks, Roger I have ordered the manuals.also went to big deans web site pretty kool! did not see anything about power steering leak do you order the cd or e-mail him with a question.

Chris, you will be far ahead on this tractor to get youself the manuals. Don't get IT or other off brand manuals. Get 3 real MF manuals: Operator manual, Repair manual, and Parts manual. You will save money in the long run by not tearing up more than you fix without the manuals.
