Anyone know of any MF 35 combines still running? Never seen one in person. Wouldn't mind finding one "one day" to restore/play with. What kind of machine were they?

thanks,
Al(NC)

A friend of my dad's had one 10 or 15 years ago. He used it to cut 50 or 60 acres of wheat and soybeans with it each year. I used to bale his wheat straw for him every year back when I was in high school, and I ran the thing a few times. It was like a toy compared to the Deere 4400 we had on our farm. As well as I recall it put out a pretty clean grain sample though. He had to run it slow because he was cutting 80 bushel wheat with it, and the Super 35 was designed back when 35 bushels was a bumper crop. Not much capacity there, but it would have made a great plot combine though.

He and his son farm a lot more land now and have a 750 MF combine. Not sure if he still has the old 35 or not, but knowing him it is probably tucked into a corner of one of his sheds because he never gets rid of anything.
