I have a 4000 Ford Industrial with a very strong Ford loader. Don't really care for the tractor, but, for now it will have to do. Was wondering what tractor in the same vintage (1962) that MF made would be comparable in HP , hydralics etc... I have a MF 50 that I truly do enjoy I just don't think it's big enough to handle a nice sized loader.Would the 65 or possibly the 135 or 165 be comparable? Also which loader is the strongest? I only have a small place, but. have to correct about 50 years of neglect (a lot of work to do with a tracor) Thank you in advance for any and all feedback. John

we had a MF65s industrial with a 702 loader and a backhoe (I forget the number!) it had a heavy duty (non adjustable) front axle and wheel hubs/bearings. It was a handy little tool. I think all it ever had while we had it was a new clutch and a couple of water pumps.

since your ford is an industrial version with loader i would stick with it unless your can locate an industrial version in the mf line, since you want a loader, the smaller mf tractors all had a very light front end, with bearings about the size of your pinky finger. i believe that a mf 31, 202, 3165 would be what you are looking for, basically the same tractor as the ag models just a lot heavier front ends for loader use
