Phill,
I have posted a picture of a close up of the dash on my 135 on the link below. There is a spot where it looks like the lever you are talking about for the MUILTI POWERE might have been. Also I was wondering is it would be possible for you to email me your email address?

Chuck

Phill,
I just read your post to CHUCK. Yes it does have the remotes and valve to run them. The remote valve is plumed into the switch that sits between your legs in front of the seat. It does have a lever that is in the stright up poss. I dont think
it was used much cause it is rusted and will not move. With the loader going off of the front pump the owner must of used the switch to go from remotes to three point. You think. I will post a pic of the valve on the web site right under the one for the dash with the missing lever.

Phill,
Yes the loader is a 236. The first time I posted the model number it was cause I had checked it out in the dark with a flashlight. Checking it in the days time it was more visible.

I did get the valve freed up in front of the seat. A little KROL oil and a few taps and it freed up. I asume up is for three point and down is for the remote.

If this missing switch is the MP where on the trans should I look that the cable would be hooked up.

I feel the say way every time I find something new out about this tractor. I just figure the either did not know what he had or just did not want to mess with it. Goes to show you looks are not every thing. I ordered new metal hood, side rails and nose cap on this site. So once I get the rebuilt carb on and change all of the hose's give it a tune up. It should be ready to plow some snow. Have to call tomorow to see how much it will cost to rebuild the front pump. I figure if I put $1000 into this tractor I will still be WAY AHEAD OF THE GAME.

Chuck,

Not being familiar with the switch you will just have to play with it. When the lift doesn't work you should have the hydralics engaged. Just a reminder that the position lever will need to be in the constant pumping mode for the hydralics to work.

My tractor has MP and just under the steering area there is a rod that I would say is about a quarter inch that goes down into the transmission. Your MF135 may have something like that but I really don't know. An e-mail to Big Dean might shed some light on this issue. Also if Big Dean has a CD on the MF 135 then I would consider purchasing one.

In spite of the way the tractor seems to look now it appears to be in very good shape. With just a little time and tender loving care you will have one to the best small tractors around.

Get the front pump and power steering pump repaired and the front end loader will add a lot of chore eating power. Even if you don't try to do any serious dirt work with the loader it will make small chores and yard work just seem to disappear.
