I have an old Harry Fergson LTD tractor in good running order.I was able to get some parts by looks in PAVO GA at T&H Salvage.What I would like to do is find someone whom can identfie the make and model. It has 2 fuel cell in one tank with a dual fuel switch. They tell me during the War fuel was short so they got it hot on gas and switched over to kerosen. It has the following patents.470060,470067,471515I,510352,54120,576907,612634,619974. The only part of the Model I can make out is the last numbers the first one or two are missing. The ones I have are D260084.It has On the plate Made in England by the Standard Motor Company LTD.Under those patents.It also has BREVETE S.G.P.C.I can get a picture if that helps.

You are the owner of a 1952 Ferguson TED Tractor
The first part of the serial no. that is missing is the T E, as the serial no. is TED260084.
The following is the information the s/n gives
T = Tractor
E = England (built in England)
D = Standard engine, made by the Standard Motor Co. of Coventry, England, known over here as a TVO tractor, Tractor vaporizing oil.
As you say it is started on Petrol and when the engine is hot the fuel knob is turned to the tvo tank, but be sure to turn it back onto petrol before stopping the engine

If you need any further help or information let me know I have a 1949 TED complete with instruction book and works manual.

Bob thanks very much for the information. How does one go about getting a parts manual or any other info on this Model tractor. Do you have any idea on the value of it. I use it as much as I have time it runs great. I could use a few parts to make it better. like a fuel switch, fuel filter screen a carb rebuild kit.I would like one day to get some newwer metals for it fender and hood. I have another on just like it my father when he bought it gave an old ford jubulee that had a blow engine for the parts tractor.He paid like $900.00 for the one that is running.Again thanks any info would be a help
