Anyone,
I just got back my Zenith carb from being rebuilt by yesterdays tractors. They sent it to some company call CTS in MO. It look nice they cleaned it up real good. I installed the carb on my 73 MF-135 turned on the fuel and a few min. later I had gas coming out the air filter. I am figureing that the float is stuck. Should this happen to a carb that just had a $145.00 rebuilt done on it?

Chuck, The float should not be stuck; but in all fainess, who knows how many gorillas handled the box in shipping? Sometimes a sharp rap on the side of the carb is enough to loosen a stuck float. If not, take it apart and check the adjusment, or send it back.

Way to Go Chuck!
That's the typical cause after the stuck float. Glad you found it and its purring again!
