Just wanted to say thanks to all that answered my many questions on this MF-135. Also thanks to Big Dean for all the answers and taking the time to put the cd together. What a great bunch of info.
Just need to make some small ajustments on the carb and should be ready to push some snow and turn some soil this spring.

Thanks again
CHUCK

P.S. Just a rattle can paint job to keep it from rusting.

Chuck...

Am starting a paint job on my MF220. I figure on also doing a rattle can paint job but haven't ever done one of this size. Thought I'd get your advice.

How much disassembly did you do?
What did you use to de-grease it?
Any special degreasing tips (mine is pretty filthy)?
what kind of paint?
what colors?
Any advice?

How much disassembly did you do?
Took all the sheet metal off. Fenders, dash(remember to mark all wires as to what gage they go to)I used duck tape with marker

What did you use to de-grease it?
Some stuff call POWER SOLVE 5000. We use it at work to clean gear reducerer that are very greese. It desolves grease and evaporates and leaves no resdue.

Any special degreasing tips (mine is pretty filthy)?
made by ZEP
what kind of paint?
The stuff that they sell at Tractor Supply. I used the gray sandable primer and put a few coats on the metal. Seem to fill in the pits. what colors?
Massey Ferguson red and Massey Ferguson gray
Any advice?
I am just using this tractor to plant deer food plots and a few chores around the 38ac that I have. Also have a farmall H to get up a little higher to see ahead for the brush hoging.
Good luck and hope to see some pics when you are done.

I hope this works. Here is a pic of the tractor finished. When the angelfire site comes back up you can see what it used to look like.
