Does anyone know where this was built? The badge goes at the front (although it is missing, but you can see where it was). This made me think it was british (im in the UK, os this would make sense). But then somewhere on this site i read that the British 135's have an accelarator peddle. Mine does not. The lights are about half way down the front grill. I saw a picture of a french one with the lights here, but havent really paid any attention to where they are on british or American built.

It has Perkins 3 cylinder diesel.

Thanks in advance.

Ben

(i will also post this in tractor talk board)

Ben, it looks like the ones we have down under made in U.K., early models (we had a 165 diesel) had the foot throttle as an option (ours was purchased in 1967) and fitted later. regards sibby.!!!

The tractor serial number will identify the tractor. The serial number link at left may help, but I think it is for U.S.A. built tractors.

hey man.....

i got some UK serial nos for ya somewhere in me website

follow the link

we have a 135 petrol with no acceretar pedal

also have a 77 135 diesel 8spd in the shed, with power steering

great bus

hey, you either have retro fitted guards, or late model 135 or even a 148 with those square mudguards (me don't think you have a yankee machine just looking at the guards!)

and the fact you are in the UK..... yeap..... a banner lane beast!!

ps. below is a pic of our rebuilt 1972 165 farm tractor, this was done 2 years ago, she is used daily.....no intention of pampering her like ya average classic tractor

just work her till she needs rebuilding again (then she will get 236 liners.....whoooo)
