Sorry for the long post, but we had a lot of questions on our 22...

First, there's a light at the top of the dash. It's disconnected at this time, and didn't have any cover over it. What's this light for? Was it to illuminate the dash gauges? Does anyone have the cover that would go over the light?

Second, I got the light switch working yesterday. I assume that the resistor on it was for the generator - is this correct? We replaced the generator with an alternator, so that resistor would not be used if it's for the generator.

The throwout bearing seems to stick on the shaft when the tractor sits for a while, and doesn't let the clutch disengage from the flywheel. Is there an easy fix for this, like a grease fitting or something? Nothing jumped out as being obvious, but I didn't look too hard either.

Speaking of the clutch, when we did get it freed up, the tractor was real jerky. No matter how easily you slipped the clutch, it almost made the front end jump off the ground. Any suggestions?

Lastly, the tractor only had the cultivating light on the bottom of the frame - it has no headlights or rear light. Where did these lights mount, and does anyone have any they'd be willing to part with?

I wanted to sell this tractor, as we don't need it, but our 10-yr-old son loves it, and has spent more time playing with it than I have. So I guess it'll stay in the family now!
