Have a MF35 w/ multipower and yes it is starting to leak. I do not mind putting fluid in every couple of weeks but i do not want to hurt the tractor so i am thinking of fixing the problem. Would it be better to fix the multi power or just buy a used trans w/o multi power and be done with it.

Any one have an comment, done the same, or want to do the same??

thanks for the help

BC I have changed out several Multipower transmission with the 6 or 8 speed transmissions I have even put a couple of manual shuttle transmission from the Industrial tractors in place of them. It is usually cheaper to repair the Multipower than it is to buy a transmission to replace it with. I changed them because that is what the customer wanted. Hope this helps if I can be of further help Email me.

Thanks for the info Big Dean. I use to keep the tractor in multi low and never worried about it. I just ran it every once in a while in high to keep every thing lubed up. now it seems its starting to drip a little even when its in multi low. I did not think that was possible. But what do i know... very very little....

is it that hard to fix the multi power or should i say or asked what kind of $$$$$$$$$$$ are ya talking about.

thanks for all the help
