Go to the top of the transmission/differential casting case. On the upper machined surface there are two plates bolted down to the case. One is a cast shifting platform (forward), the other is a steel cover plate (back). Between these two plates is a space. Go to the left side of the machined surface space (between the two plates) and look for the serial number which will be stamped into that area. It will roughly be about where the clutch pedal sits when at rest. Post the serial number here and we'll ID the model and year. It will be hard to find so do some wire-brushing and scraping.

What model is it? The 1951 Massey-Harris tractors have different value.
