I have a 135 with the perkins desiel and would like to know what kind of oil pressure it is suppose to hold after it gets hot. Mine pegs the gage when cold but after working it about an hour or so it drops drastically. It appears to have original gage in it and does not have numbers. When hot it runs on the next to last mark at idle. Thanks for the input in advance.

I just bought a MF 35 with the Perkins 3/152 diesel. The gauge is color coded:

5psig (min) to 15 red
15 to 30 amber
30 to 60 (max) green

That tells me something. Mine did the same thing as yours and could be needing some new bearings but I didn't want to do an OH. Put in HD 40w from TSC and got reasonable pressure. When I see red on an OEM pressure gauge that tells me to stay out of that area and low viscosity oils on worn engines won't do it.
