Hi all

I think I have a VERY early MF135.

There is no serial number plate. also no rivot holes to hold the serial number plate(??)!

The engine was made on the 10th of August 1964

Am i right in thinking the first UK 135s were built december 64?

It has square fenders. remote hydraulics, 6 speed box, suspension seat, perkins 3cylinder diesel

A friend said (jokingly) maybe it was a prototype! When i thought about it, that might be why it doesnt have a serial number plate, or anywhere that it could possibly have been!

I know, its a longshot, but, well, you never know!

Please reply, and tell me you think im a prat, or whatever you want to say, i just want some opinions!

Didn"t the very first 135s have round wings like a 35? I might be wrong. Our 1965 model had the square fenders but not a suspension seat ( later addition to your tractor? ) it does sound a bit of an oddity!

I am not sure on the UK built MF135 but the early US built MF135 had the serial plate on the battery tray by the air cleaner. you might look there to see if your has it.
