Hi,
I've recently purchaced a MF 135. I think it may have a problem with the lift? Hope some of ypu experts can help me out. I have the manuals on order from YT.

The draft (inside) lever does not seem to want to move. It is set close to the middle. Is there a trick to freeing this lever and what is it used for?

The other lever moves fine and operates the lift, but you have to set the lever behind the lock to make it stay down. Is this normal?

You should check Big Dean's website, he has a wealth of info on the 100 series hydraulics.

Yours sounds like it has linkage problems under the lift cover. If you have a hoist to lift the cover & a manual, you can check & adjust all the linkage.

Jeff

it could be seized they do that if they sit to long then its a matter of breaking it loose which can be fun.I've never had one seize solid but there was one that was close we used WD40 and got it to move a little at a time.now it works fine.

Check to make sure the lever is not locked there because there is a bolt that can lock it or just tension the lever .When we got ours someone had tightened it so it would not move because they didnt want it to get bumped and go to constant pumping.WE loosened the bolt and spayed the lever with WD40 because it was a little stiff works great now.The inside lever is for the height the arms will lift if down it won't lift and if high it will lift full height. but dont put it to the top setting thats constant pumping and it will blow the pump if your not using a hydraulic control. Because a hydraulic control takes the oil from the pump and runs it though the control and back to the transmission so the oil can circulate.

the bolt is right on the lever about 5 inchs from the top and Iam not sure about it blowing the pump if you put both levers to the top but our pump stopped working when it got bumped there for about a minute but the pump could of been getting bad . My father told me never put both levers at the top if the hydraulic controls not hooked up . I'am only 22 so I listen to all he tells me learned lots that way.
