Could any of the knowlegable on this board help me with this? I just picked this up and have two questions. 1)What is the model number so I can look for a manual. 2) The way the pto shaft yokes are lined up is this ok? Shouldn't they be opposite or 90 degrees out from one another?

I also spent a heck of a lot of time with one of these mowers.

My only comment is that the belt is supposed to go OUTSIDE the idler pulleys, not inside.

Th pulleys are just there to keep the belt from flopping around.

I have an owner’s manual for the Massey-Ferguson MF 41 rear - mounted dynabalance mower. The manual covers assembly instructions, operating adjustments, operating instructions, mower operating difficulties, periodic maintenance, servicing, and specifications. The manual has 26 pages and is in very good condition.
Here is the only catch, in the near future I will be selling this manual and many, many others for a friend on eBay. I will ask him if he will sell it out right and how much. I don"t know the value, you may want to make an offer. Contact me through my email address.

I would like this manual. Any chance it is still available a year later, or anyone know where to find one?

#41 Dynabalance. Made for MF by Vermeer. Good mower. Most parts still available. (Except for the sheetmetal guard that covers the belt) Very reliable, well built mower.
