I read these 4 posts about 30 times and finally figured out that some pins are hollow but mine was solid with small metric tapped hole at front end

could not get pin to budge, drained radiator and pulled front end off, PB Blaster plus enthusiasm plus 10lb sledge finally got it moving about 1/32 inch, that pin is some good hard steel

worked pin back/forth with maul and got her out, dealer sent wrong pin (50% too short) and am about to tap new pin into place if weather holds

old pin is very hard but had goodly groove worn in, bushing was worn about 2x, thru into axle but just a bit, Big Dean said to use permanent Loctite on both bushings to keep them in place, original bushing was machine staked into place

not all that bad a job once the pin starts moving

pin free at last.pin was ''froze'' in frame that is next to the crank pully .removed front end and applied what my buddy calls a ''fire wrench'' ie torch and applied some pressure and out she came.

Had same problem on TO-35. After much cussing and pounding, finally made a puller out of 12" piece of 5/8" all-thread and a U-channel with a hole drilled in the center to straddle the front of the pin. Used 2 nuts and a large washer on the end next to the crankshaft pulley. Turned out my pin was froze where it went thru front frame next to the crankshaft pulley. Be sure to use plenty of penetrating oil.

Bob, the pin should pull out of the bolster. If it is stuck, try turning it with a pipe wrench. Take the short axles off both sides to reduce weight. God bless Allen
