overhauling a perkins 4-203 one sleeve does not fit the bore tight can be pulled out or in fairly easy by hand what would be the remedy to hold it in place

There is a loctite for holding loose sleeves it is the green loctite if I remember right. It has been several years since I have used any of it. I usually had the block bored an a sleeve pressed in then bored that sleeve back to the original bore of the block. Then you can put the replacement sleeve in they last a lot better when done this way.
