I have a series 101 char lynn power steering unit that I need to find a part for. Anyone have a bad unit that might have the piece I need or a source for these old units? Thanks

What is the required part? Since Eaton owns Char-Lynn, and after market PS is not selling like it was 3 or 4 decades ago, you get ignored by the
company. The Rep wants to visually see the part
you need, even when you have their part number.
Best offer, with arm twisting, was he would get a machine shop to custom make the part. There are
as-is units sold on the net , regularly. I saw one
non-working, a guy paid $400+ for. Running the motor valve, with a flow control, seems less of
a problem, than secondary pumps, if you have central hydraulics on your tractor. Hydraulic
Surplus, of NE, has the Prince control, all 3 can be set at 1000PSI, for the steering. Slows your central hydraulics, some, but antique tractors don't get run that hard, usually. Good
luck.
