Hi all,

I want to outfit my 135 with ROPS. A friend of friend has complete setup for a 265. It is not close to me, so does anyone know whether this unit will bolt right on to the 135 or perhaps with some minor mods? $100 seems better than finding another or making one.

Appreciate the help.

I hope that works for you, if it does not and your friend wants to sell his off the 265 I would be willing to buy it.

I have been wanting one badly for my 255 but can't bring myself to pay the price the dealer is asking.

I took a factory MF 255 rops cab off a MF 135 & it bolted up perfectly to my MF 65, so I know those 3 interchange.

Its worth looking but I suspect it won't. I know the 165 has a planetary axle so the axle is fat out near the fenders. The 135 doesn't have those planetary gears.

You might check with places like Saf-T-Cab that make many after market ROPS or there's a web page in Wisconsin that has an extensive list of ROPS and vendors. Last time I posted its URL here it was in a list that was cleansed so I'm not taking the time to find it again.

My 1969 Massey 135 has the Planitary Gears w/disk brakes but it is a UK Orchard. I heard they used the 165 rear end on them. Mark H.
