When I try to lower the 3 point on mf MF 175 it takes a very long tine to lower. Is this an easy problem to solve or something a dealer will need to fix. Thanks in advance.

Two questions for you where have you got your response set & the other question is does your tractor have Pressure control on it?

I've tried the response on slower and faster and it doesn't seem to make a difference, and I'm not sure about the pressure control.

Hi,
With Pressure Control you effectively have 3 quadrants to use. The PC is on the front side and normally has a blue sticker on it. Move your position control lever 'over-top' and forward. The linkage may rise briefly but should go down as you push the lever down.
If this does not work you should partly drain the oil to the lower bolt hole on the round side cover and remove the cover. Inside you will see the vertical lever pushing a lever at the bottom. The lower lever should always follow the position of the vert lever. If it does not follow or follow immediately you control valve in the pump is sticking or stuck. Has the tractor been left in 'Constant Pumping) ir relief valve blowing, for any length of time. We have had occasions where the valve has overheated and stuck.
Hope this helps
