There's one of these listed for sale in the photo adds and I was wondering if it would fit a 180 MF? Thanks

Greg,

I would like to know if you were ever able to mount the 236 loader to your 180. I have a 180 and also have a line on a 236 so I'm very interested to know if you ever got it and make it work.
thanks
John Carson

My MF-236 loader manual shows brackets for the MF-175 (as well as MF-135 through 175 and 235 through 274) but not for 180.

It was too much loader for my MF-135 so I moved it to my JD -4020. So far I've only broken buckets, not the loader. I didn't use any of the MF brackets, but made my own that bolt to the front and the side rails of the 4020 stiffening them in the process using 4x2x1/4 wall tube. I don't support the back of the frame by the pedestal bottoms, but by their gussets way up. That way I preserve crop clearance.

Hi Greg I think it will work with the MF180 front mounting brackets and if you can get the correct rear mounting bracket it is special. It moves the the rear bracket forward about 10 to 12 inches. I have mounted MF236 loaders on MF175s the MF180 is same with the platform work station & a different steering. The MF246 is the loader used on the bigger tractors.

Any recommended sources for a bucket cylinder (or pair of them)? Anyone got the specifications?

We broke one and are having a hard time coming up with a replacement.
