Are their any close replacements available for the headlights on a 44? How were the wires run from the switch to the lights?

Thanks

wire came out the bottom of dash to inline fuse, then two wires, one for each fender.wires went across top of transmission cover, under each floor board along each side of the rear end,out to the fenders,up thru the holes in the bottom of the fenders to the lites.wire splits off right under fender for rear lite, depending which side your rear lite is mounted on.possibly some little clips still mounted in these areas to give you a idea where the wire USED to be.also some had male-female connectors&some were wired all in one harness.what style lite do you have?the KaDee with the stainless ring,or the GUIDE with sealed beam.guides come up readily on ebay, kadees once in a while.there also was a small style guide used on some Specials and the Triple series.hope this helps
