Alright guys, here's a challenge.

I'm talking to a guy long-distance about what he describes as a 1958 Massey Ferguson "Work Bull" 303. It has a front-end loader and a backhoe. He says it has a 10 speed tranny (2 reverse) and is operated by two pedals -- one forward and one reverse.

My main question for him was whether the backhoe can be set aside and a 3-point installed. He says there are cover plates over a pto opening and other cover plates, but he's not sure.

Anyone know anything about this model? Can parts be installed for 3-point when backhoe is off?

What model Massey is this derived from?

Thanks very much for your help.

Bob

Hi Bob;
I have a Massey Fergueson 303 "work bull" With cover plates as you were told but I don't know what tractor the parts can come from but, the manual shows and tells about the gears, shafts, etc. I would be interested in locating some parts for my 303. Axle,hyd. valves, etc.

Thanks, Albert
