Austin,
I'm hoping you got the 5455 since I have not found many reviews. Am curious how it has performed for you. I plan to get one in this hp range within by year's end and have been looking at the NH TL90 and JD 5525. Look forward to viewing your insights. Tommy

The 5400 series basically evolved from the 3000 series, but they are very different when you look closely internally as well as externally. Reliability has been vastly improved with the heavy-duty gearboxes and latest engines not to mention the stronger diff. The electronics are better sealed and more reliable and the power shuttle system is a must if you buy one. But why not go the whole way and buy a 6400 series then you can benefit from the dynashift gears as well as the power shuttle.

It's an old 3000 series with a new cab. Far too heavy for what it is, and overpriced.

Hi,

They are a little more than a 3000 series with a new cab, and they cost no more than any one elses!!

take care

Will

They have nothing to do with the 3000 series. Priced comparable to the other brands,my neighbor just bought one and he loves it.
