I bought that MH 44 today! The guy was asking $1600 and I got him down $1400 so I think I got a fair deal. I live in CT so the price of antique tractors is on the high side. The only thing that I have to do is work on that surging problemm, I'm gussing carb. I'm pretty sure thats it beacuse it runs good with the choke pulled out a little bit. And when all the way in it surges in power high, low, high etc... engine speed. Thanks for the Help!!
Andrew

I too have become a massey owner recently. I picked up a 1951 massey harris 44 gas standard for $1600. It is complete with a freshly built motor and new tires. Sheet metal is near perfect.

Bob,
You're such a gracious MH owner, participant. Any update on the Special negotiations? Better check
the fuel tank also, a hard one to clean, due to a baffle, if rusty. It would not qualify as restored
without THAT unique, easy to check fill spout.

If it's around a '51 classic 44G Row Crop, w/ hyd.
they were 'about' 2200. Sounds too low, but, back
then, before any of us were even born(dream on),
it was more than a car.
