can anyone tell me how many splines are on the shaft for the clutches on a "61 MF35 perkins diesel tractor with dual clutch

There are ten (10) splines on the small shaft that seats into the pilot bearing of the flywheel. There are ten (splines) on the shaft that the clutch release bearing travels on. I have the same tractor as you and mine is split waiting on a clutch. Just went and counted them. Hopes this helps..... ...

The springs on my 35 with Live PTO seem a lot stiffer than my Ford's. Do you find that it takes a lot of pressure to push the pedal down?
