I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to turbo one of these little suckers. I bet they'd perform to beat the band!! What do ya think?

When M&W Gear, of Gibson, City, was promoting the
turbos in the late 60's, the 'boost' often tore
up some components, on any color, when stressed to
deliver daily. In retrospect, some kit was able to run on a 333D(ED208). The owner was running a
forage blower, for haylage, Gehl 88 Hi-Throw(PTO).
He was getting about 65 HP, keeping it dancing. It
lasted about 3 years, then a huge oil bath. Even
the Green 4020's w/P Shift got sluggish w/120 HP.
Eager trades were made for OEM designed models. A
strong HD260 might last, but where is the parts source? M&W was marketing grain gravity boxes, a few years ago;nothing on the engines anymore. The
turbos could be history, or some parts stocked by
a division purchaser, questionable investment.
