Has anyone thought of trying to convert any little fergies to four wheel drive. Im thinking that it may be fun to try.

There were odd ones kicking about in the UK. The conversion kit was supplied by Selene. If I find a pic I will post it on here

there is no side port on the trans for a gear box to run the front end but then you might use a hyd. drive front end

I was thinking of machinning a hole in the side of the trans then between the trans output shaft and the pinion there should be a sleeve that connects the two that you may be able to weld a sprocket on and chain drive it out to the side of the tranny to a shaft that would run up front. The cast thickness of the tranny should hold up with a little help for mounting the second sprocket.
