I found a nice Massey 158 but am afraid to buy it because it was made in France. Does anyone know if the parts are all from the US and they were just assembled in Europe? If they are not interchangeable with US parts it could cost a lot to make repairs.
Thanks Al

Hi Al,
The French made 158 is very similar to the MF165. I believe that there are some differences such as the drag link being in the higher position as it was on the UK MF 175.
The main differences that you may encounter will probably be in the electrical system. UK made tractors are a mixture of AC-Delco and Lucas. I believe that French-made ones use Ducellier and Paris-Rhone. What makes are fitted to US tractors? Component parts will not be interchangeable but shoild be OK as complete units.
Cheers
DavidP
