mh 44 rear main seal

Hello folks..I need to replace the rear main seal on my MH 44...it has the mah260 4 cyl. gas motor...can this be done with out dropping the oil pan or pulling the motor? please help..... thanks bob

You will have to lift the motor out and remove the bellhouseing,clutch and flywheel.The new seals made for the H260 come in a kit with everything needed to mount it.You will have to drill the back of the block to accept the seal.When you lift out your motor make sure you keep the shims from under the front motor mount.They will have to go back under the mount when you put the motor back in.
