I have a 35X with a locked differential. The operating pedal is jammed solid. Do I have to remove the casing. If so, which one, the pedal is on the right. Any tips?

It has locked on my 35x as well
Try driving forward slowly while turning the steering wheel slightly to the left and then to the right. While doing this - at the same time reach down and pull the pedal up
It may take a couple of pulls and fair bit of force. But it has worked for me!!

Charles, the plant is still there, largely unused and the surroundings are looking pretty tacky. Please feel free to contact the following person who worked for Harry Ferguson, Inc. at that plant for many years as a factory rep. He'd be happy to visit with you about the plant.
