Questions about a MF 135

Hi All, I've posted before about my 135 before and I have a few questions: I live in Ohio and all the farmers are required by law to have the hazard lights at a point furthest from the tractor. (Usually its on a arm that can fold when necessary) Do I have to put those on my tractor? In order to get to some of my fields (and I am considering a field mowing service on the side to pay for it being in the shop right now) you have to go on the roadway and I have bought some of those modern flashers that you can buy from a farm store I was going to put on... If I do have to install these light bars, will they work with the dished fenders or do I have to convert them to the flat tops? I know they are listed as an option, but I have never seen any pictures of a Massey 135 with flat-top fenders. Also I'd like to know what the value of my tractor is as well. Its a 67 gasser with a 179 hours on it - and no you're not misreading things - it does have 179 hours on it. The reason why I ask is I am having it repaired right now finally after sitting for 12 years and I want to have it insured eventually. Especially if I do decided to start a field mowing business and something happens to the tractor - like getting into a wreck... Do I also need in the state of Ohio to have a special drivers licence to drive farm equipment on a public road?

And finally, the quick hitch/iMatch that are being sold nowadays, will they work on my tractor and the somewhat vintage 3 point implements without major modification?

I appreciate any advice and help you all can give me.

Christos

Well thats a UK built MF 135 with flat top fenders, like Ben says though, if that is the original hours on your tractor dont"even think about tinkering with it, I think you might have a gem there!

169 hours?! 169?! Want my honest advice? DONT mow any fields with it. DONT modify it. Dont touch it. Sell it. i dont know US prices as im in the UK - but i can tell you SOMEONE will pay a LOT of money for a 135 with 169 hours!

Sell it and buy another tractor - a 135 if you wish - i love them too! but buy a 135 with some hours on it - it will still be as good to work with! and a diesel!

Youve got a winner there!

Cant actually answer your question thogh - sorry about that! Ben
