I"m looking to purchase a MF 35 Utility, and thought I would grab the serial numbers to check year, horse power, etc. The trouble I run in to is my numbers are nothing like the ones I see in manuals or on the net. The tag that I"m pulling the serial numbers off of says "MF 35 Utility", and under the number I grab, it says "Serial No.", so I know I have proper information on the tractor, and the right number. Number is "UGF655000849", and the two numbers on the block are, "Z134 736235" and "Z134 A500P". Can anyone help?? Any opinons on this tractor???

The Utility tractors use a different set of numbers then the regular MF35 use. The Serial number UGF655000849 is for a 1964 year. They are part of the Industrial line of tractors and most of them have a different front axle. The prefix letter are for the U is for Utility. THe G is for a gas engine and the F is for a single disc clutch. with the single it will not have live PTO. Hope this helps

Thanks for the information Big Dean. I also checked out your website, (the tips on buying a tractor were a big help), and plan on contacting you for one of those CD's you have for sale if I buy this tractor Im looking at. Thanks again.
