How difficult and expensive would it be to put a power take off & 3 point hitch on a MF 202 that is currently a back hoe.

We will be taking the back hoe off.

Chip

Chip if you didn't need the backhoe you should be able to sell it, buy all parts required to do the 3-point hitch conversion and come out a couple hundred dollars ahead. Provided that the hoe was in decent shape. Does the 202 have dual clutch?

The PTO has to have everything from the pump back back. The plate with the shift lever in it. The tractor has to be split and the piece the rear shaft of the pump runs on removed and the bearing install where you remove that piece from . It is a pretty good job to install this stuff. If you have the Reverse A Matic or later it was called Instant Reverse transmission the three point pump and the pto only works when one of the pedals are pushed down. when the reverse pedal is pushed the pto turns backwards. If I can be of further help Email me
