1941 101 Junior
I just spoke w/ a clutch place, and they said it would cost $60 dollars to reline each band (total $120). He also stated he didn’t know how thick of material to put on the band, he stated he thought it would be 1/4.

Has anybody had brakes relined recently for a 101? Is this a fair price? Does anyone know of the correct thickness of material? I am near Lansing in Michigan. I would even be willing to ship them to place to have them relined if they are cheaper.

Maximum thickness should be 1/4. You will have problems fitting drums if you use any thicker. I'm in Canada paid $80 each.

Call Pacific Clutch and Brake. I had my Senior done there, and I think for both they charged about $80. But that was like three or four years ago.. They are in Spokane, Washington, and they have an 800 Number. 800.445.4696. The inside sales guy is Curt Claussen. One of my shoes was bent up pretty good, and they straightened up and included in the cost.
