had massy 265 brought to me, someone had put in clutch without using clutch setup tool..will not release...is there a way to set this without breaking it apart or do i need to split it..if i split it can someone tell the distance the fingers need to be, i don't have tool for setting clutch..use to working on john deere's...thanks have nice day may god bless

If the clutches were not lined up and someone pull it together with bolts they most likely warped the disc if so I doubt it can be adjusted to where it will release I have a picture that shows how to adjust the two stage clutch and one that shows how to build a lineup tool and how to set the release finger height without the tools. If you will send me an email address I will send those picture to you.
